Dutch-born Wilhelmina Cooper (born Behmenburg) adorned the covers of more than 300 magazines (27 American Vogue, a record) before she and her husband Bruce Cooper (married in 1965) started their own model agency in 1967. She died in 1980 for breast's cancer.
